After 18 years sitting in a barn, I take my late father's GT Hawk out for a spin. More at: http://www.classiclantern.com/Stude/
All it needed was the fuel tank flushed out, carb rebuilt, and a good cleaning. There's a 1958 Packard hardtop waiting in the barn.

  • just imagine that having a convertable top?

  • @forbearsake Actually I have thought of this. It would have to be done so the soft top had the exact shape of the hard top. The large rear window could not be done in a rag top but I don't think that would be a problem. It would look great with the top down.

  • both the car and this sublime clip belong in both the smithsonian and the gugenheim.

    this was awesome.

    an opus omage

  • @psdfjsbpisdbf ...You Sir, embiggin the English language.

  • Do you want to sell it?

  • You might be kidding but I'll bite.

Sorry. It belonged to my Father and now my Brother. He's very attached to it. The Stude now lives on a ranch near Bakersfield California.
