I actually like the freedom tower, it just seems like so many people hate it because 3/4 of people on YouTube hate it!! lots of people love it everywhere else. You guys should be happy for this, at least they didn't pick the proposal with the rock sticking out of the site and a park. I want the twin towers back too, they might build it in the future or they mat not. If not the World Trade Center will look beautiful, and people will probably come to like it in the future.

the costruction is actully normal speed the are doing a lot of stuff underneath it will start to rise faster later this year. You can see it getting higher at the end.

Yes, OF COURSE it's costing taxpayer money! Over a billion for the freedom tower alone. So what? That's irrelevant. It's has nothing to do with any change of plan. They won't tear it down. If I knew you personally, I would bet you a thousand dollars on the matter. BTW, I don't know where you're getting bullshit figures like 10% and 2020. AND, rebuilding the old twins would be a horrible idea economically due to the difficulties of getting tenants to occupy them if they were rebuilt. Be realistic

Realizing it would cost less of OUR tax dollars to just take down the foundation, and rebuild the towers. The freedom tower would have cost more to the tax payers than new twin towers even if Mr. King had enough money to build the freedom tower without our help. And now he's asking US to bail him out? Watch MSNBC. You might start to realize that it's not just the public getting involved, but soon, someone much more powerful than us.

New twin towers aren't going to happen. The foundation is built, and it's like 150 feet off the ground. Years of work have gone into it. Complex contracts have been assigned. Millions of dollars have been invested, with billions more on the way. Do you even realize what it takes to make a foundation for a skyscraper? By the way, a demolition would cost hundreds of thousands of dollars at the minimum.
