You should see college graduation...it's a blast! I graduated twice...we had beach balls, people did the moon walk on the stage, people decorated their caps and wore elvis sunglasses. It was awesome! Wish high school graduations are as festive.

It boils down to this...
The administrator was already frustrated due to previous disruptive incidents with beach balls & such... So when this kid took a bow & blew a kiss she pounced on him...
It's like a mom with two kids - one's being a disrespectful brat & has her on edge, so when the other kid asks mom an innocent question she damn near snaps his head off.
This lady screwed up. Should we crucify her? no. Does the kid deserve his diploma & a sincere apology? YES.

That's more like being arrested for your parents using the bathroom

Education system in the US is clearly ineffective, right from the start when children enters Elementary School.

I heard about this school, it is pretty fucked up but you used a really bad analogy. Its like watching a football game and the team won, and the fans are going crazy! so the ref. says they didn't win, but this is still pretty fucked up. and VERY TIGHT ASS people.

it's more like being arrested because some one else got used the bathroom

It doesn't matter, you should know what's bullshit and what isn't.
THAT RULE is some tight assed bullshit.
It's a retarded nitpick created for superficial reasons.

What bothers me about this is that a stupid school rule is trying to prevent these students in having a good future and forcing them to work at a dead end job for the rest of their life.
Students were not "denied their deplomas." Instead, they were denied participation in the remainder of the graduation ceremony after violating rules informed of & agreed to in advance, picking up their diplomas at the school administration office later.
The graduation ceremony is a school sponsored & financed event (not a right guaranteed students), thus the school has an absolute right to set rules regarding conduct and deny participation for students violating those rules.
