You're right, there are no plans to close the Nutro dog food plant. Mars did buy Nutro Products, but the company has retained it's Nutro name.

I agree with you on CA being a wacky, liberal state, but I don't know what you mean by somehow "you and your people" vote negatively on rickhorror's posts. I moved from SVL because it's a cheap knock off of a gated community.. in my opinion you should be worried about youre rotten lake and youre polluting wave runners and boats ,it smells without Nutro, in 10 years it will be another lake Elsinore.

SVL is the center of the world for me and I choose to protect my investment. It's NOT a matter of opinion whether Nutro is violating the law, since AQMD has issued a violation stating that they are. And it looks to me like we are winning, since Nutro is spending $10M to fix the problem by Dec 31, and will possibly be fined $10K per day as of last year, and will probably lose millions more from the hundreds of people that have sued them. Enough said? Seems to me like Nutro has lost.

to the factory workers youre the nuisance .. its a matter of opinion to wether its worth the smell or not. or wether the companies a nuisance.. so what youre telling me you would rather live by unemployed angry people .. SVL isnt the center of the world, I like how youve decided for everyone involved that it isnt a good idea, it was a dumb idea to build the newer homes in SVL on the side entrance right backed up to a factory..whos idea was that? who would buy such a bad lot?
