I read something online that they are creating this app and is going to sell the app to mobile manufacturers.. They will not allow consumers to download the application, but the application that they made will be pre installed in upcoming mobile phones. so none the less, my n9 is fkcd

Aww.. I really hope not. I just got this phone solely on the basis that I will be able to run all android apps within the end of the year. Do you have anything to support this? Because I really hope you're wrong :P
I even googled "Myriad Alien Dalvik hoax" after reading your comment and the only thing that it seems to come up with is this video with your comment on :P...
So what makes you suspect it's a hoax?

I am pretty sure that Alien Dalvik is a hoax. Has anyone seen them demo any other Android apps than that same Photoshop thing, even with the same picture on the N900 every time... They show you icons of other apps but why not the apps themselves? My theory: they have implemented a native fake version of the app for the N900 (as a concept demo) and that they are trying to get funding for the company "to finish the product".

I don't think that this app will ever be released... They told that this app will be presented in february 14 in Barcelona, but that never happened. So will they ever release this app? I don't think so... but I would like to buy this app, even if is 20$ :D
