I had the honor of assisting him on a number of occasions in the 1980's.
My camera store provided Dean with gear for his productions and videos.
Dean is truly missed in the industry.

Dean was great master and most if not all I know about light I learned from his DVDs which I got from Software Cinema. I run small studio and working on small collection of digital images distributed online. Collins' DVD among few other fortunate circumstances made that possible. Highly recommended. I watched each video over 10 times at least. Always something new. Thank you Dean.
