World Champion Eric Murray has broken a world record for indoor rowing. Within an hour of non stop rowing in ergo, he covered the distance of 18728m. The previous record was 18221m and was set by Graham Benton (GBR) in 2008.

@hellerase yeah but like its a lot easier to hold a 30spm average because its just like rowing the boat. a 30 on the static erg is like a 38 on a boat. its has its benefits. both ergs work the same shit so doesnt matter. but theres a good debate between them too.

@absegamifrosh8 In a static you will get less/better average split rather than dynamic. But still dynamic is closer to rowing and much less stressful for the back. This guy is a legend!!!

the Dynamic erg helped him, its easier to pull harder and long on them because youre not really using energy to bring yourself up to the catch.
