  • Thank you and it's a great time to serve my people. I'm not supposed to claim to be muslim, so I won't. But there are some things to remember; -1- I am the ONE and ONLY, hippest black U.S. president. I am in with the Liberals, mexicans, muslims, democrats, gays, rich decievers, all those great misled groups. So you can put me down, but that will be a nonversation to me. My bromance with myself reaches beyond the scope of these small items like the collapse of the U.S. economy. Masha 'Allah!

  • ShinsengumiTaicho1,

I think that's the way it's been for a long time. The Republicans have been advocating an extremist fundamentalist version of capitalism that isn't really capitalism at all.

The super-rich don't -really- want cash, cash, cash in the form of tax cuts targeted at the super-rich. What they really want is a functioning government, a functioning economy, a functioning COUNTRY.

  • There are presently over 900 lobbyist for Each elected congressman and senator on Capital Hill. They pay off our elected officials thru the corporations they represent. I say let lobbyist lobby the tax payers instead of congress. Make it against the law to lobby elected officials. I ask you this who does your congressman and senator really work for? You or GE,EXXON/MOBIL,WALL STREET? Its corporate greed they are consolidating their wealth off shore, and sticking us with the bill.

  • McCain fed us the same line. It doesn't mean shit to keep repeating that bailouts are bad, when they just keep happening over and over. The real thing to notice here is that the US economy is failing after 80 years of relative stability- meaning that our entire financial system is bullshit and no one has learned anything since the 1920s.

  • This election is truly topsy turvy when the "liberal" candidate is advocating basic capitalism (where mismanagement should be rewarded with economic failure) and the "conservative" candidate is a corporate COMMUNIST (bailing out lazy, uncompetitive, business tycoons and rewarding incompetence with our tax dollars).

    Go figure.
