The radio version (from Sunday Feb 22, 1948 it was always a Sunday afternoon show in its 1937-54 run) was the first "Shadow" episode I have ever heard and to this day is still my favorite, I guess because of its bizarre plot. I learned years later, as a collector and hobbyist, that the radio version circulating for many years was removed of the original organ music used as bridges and stings by recorded orchestra music when many episodes were syndicated in the 1960s.

I was floored watching this adaption of the Sunday, February 22, 1948 "The Shadow" broadcast, not to mention the look on my face when I simply googled the title of the show. I was entertained by this tremendously.

Thank you. Appreciate your comment. It's part of history now - the last "Winner Track" production at Cinekyd.
Thanks so much for watching and commenting. The script was chosen because it was considered by many listeners one of the best of radio's The Shadow. During the 30 years that the Cinekyd organization operated students listened to tapes of dozens of the classic radio broadcasts. They performed their own versions of the original stories many times.
