A Documentary on SPISP or the Southern Philippines Irrigation Sector Project. A development project by Philippine's National Irrigation Administration or NIA in cooperation with the Asian Development Bank. The project aims to promote economic growth and reduce poverty in its area of implementation by improving and constructing small to medium scale irrigation systems for the intensive cultivation of rice and crops in southern Philippines.

This documentary is a story of progress, hope and change.

  • Great video, brings back lots of good memories. I truly believe in the goals of this government initiative and am glad to have been part of it even though as a little person and a lowly stringer only. And now that I have moved on, I continue to wait with bated breath for the wonders it will do in helping the noble farmers of our country.
