  • @churchsxciting701 , good luck finding these at value village, these shells are collectors items and the 5" tiger cowries are worth hundreds.

  • @alawaiman Not to discourage your obvious good taste in collecting, but in all my years of Conchology,I have only rarely come across a Tiger that would fetch more than £150 dollars, those being exceptional colour morphs-your Cowries, though delightful and well sized and formed,£25 - 30 dollars is more realistic.I have a Mottled Fawn Tiger,6.3 Inch in my tiger collection(some 35-40 shells)that can be valued at £180-220. Please dont let me discourage you, this is just my proffesional diagnosis :)

  • also i hope that you were picking up dead shells. because some of them like the conidae family the conus marmoreous have stingers that are very poisonous to humans also the var bandanus and the conus striatus are also native to hawaii and have deadly stingers. word to the wise when i collect sea shells. if it in the shape of a snow cone leave it alone.

  • It's a remarkable Hawaiian collection, however one of your Murexes looks like very much like like Chicoreus cichoreum, a Philippine species not a Hawaiian shell. Just wondering (the video of that part is a tad rough.

  • u mean cm?

  • :O ! my dad and i have like, 2 giant giant goblets full of shells but most of them are just everyday finds. that cone, however, is not an everyday find, and is AMAZING!

  • I like the red one!
