Why are there no other comments here? In any event, this use of a brain scan in the prosecution of a murder charge sets a dangerous precedent for India. Like lie detector tests, scans are no doubt both fallible and beatable, eliminating the possibility of their use in any modern court. Also, such scans, if conducted without permission, are a serious invasion of privacy, akin to reading someone's thoughts. Whether one has committed a wrong action or not, involuntary scans must never be allowed.
