  • @Eugenitor actually i have to say this is a pretty corny show for toddlers, and this an american show that no resembles of anime i should know this because i am a die-hard anime fan who watches anime and reads manga for a living (not too literall)! But the scetches may have been imported from Japan like most american shows these days (like spongebob)....so animator three dosen't make sense cause it as created by hasbro- which is a company that is american! And the other animators you speak of d

  • @girldbzlover ah no. Rainbow Brite was created by Hallmark Cards. And the dolls were produced by Mattel, so no Hasbro involved. As one of the other comments said it was proced by DIC but with Japannese studios (Osamu Dezaki was a joint director and Tokyo Movie Shinsha was one of the production companys)

Many people think it was created by Hasbro, because they created My Little Pony, which was famous in the 80s too. Do you homework next time... thanks

  • So three Japanese animators walk into a bar...

Animator 1: I worked on Akira. It was hard, but it came out to be a grand success.

Animator 2: I worked on Robot Carnival. It didn't turn out as well as Akira, but it's something I can be proud of.

Animator 3: I... I worked on... Rainbow Brite. I cannot live with this shame. *seppuku*

  • @Eugenitor it was a good cartoon! it is a classic!
