#1 Secret to Curing Keratoconus at www.FixesYourKeratoconus.com. Doctors are still telling their patients with Keratoconus that you have to wait until it gets bad enough for a cornea transplant. A new break-through cross-linking procedure developed by Dr. Boxer Wachler is changing the thinking about that. Holcomb C3-R Crosslinking is the solution for many people. This is a great video.

  • This condition ruins people's lives .I was diagnosed with keratoconus in junior hi . I had a cornea transplant in my left eye and I still need contacts and glasses on top to achieve a satisfactory vision . In the past I have had many infections in my eyes because of rubbing . and I have intolerance to extensive use of contacts .Ironically I couldn't graduate from the school of optometry

  • @dragoneti67 You are 100% correct. Keratoconus does ruin people's lives. Thankfully there are advanced treatments like Holcomb C3-R, Intacs, etc and help people regain their lives and prevent needing a cornea transplant.

  • @DrBoxerWachler You can't imagine how difficult it is to get a job with this condition and even some people make fun of you . I wish one day I could see life in Hi definition again

  • @dragoneti67 I would advise finding a good optometrist to get you into the best contacts avaiable. If you would like to mail a copy of your records to see what you might be a candidate for (eg Holcomb C3-R, Intacs, etc), please contact our office at 310-860-1900 for further information about a "record review".

  • @DrBoxerWachler Thank you for your advice . I will e-mail my records as soon as possible . If I am a candidate for C3-R intacts would be great if I can get a break from using contacts . In my point of view I believe the keratoconus in my right eye has reached an stationary Phase and is not progressing no more for what I have noticed I don't know since my last keratometry. And about my left eye which has a cornea transplant . Can it still be a candidate for C3R's ?

  • @dragoneti67 sometime Keratoconus develops in the cornea tranplant and we have the same good results of Holcomb C3-R in recurrent Keratoconus in cornea transplants.

  • @kapenzi21 are u wearing RGP lenses? i believe c3r which is only to slow/stop the progression is near 1-2k per eye, there are a few clinics that perform the procedure in the GTA, the insertion of the contact lens into the eye, that i do not know about, but i imagine each case is different and will depend on your general health, corneal thickness and degree of myopia. Stay strong, 10 years ago not much was known about the condition, and 10 years from now hopefully their will be a cure

  • Great info, Im going to def look into this

  • im so sad im a student who cant afford the treatment and my koretoconus is only getting worse, If there's any financial payment plans here in Toronto Canada pls contact me (colette_marykay@yahoo.ca) as my vision is deterirating. Thks
