In Tulsa, Oklahoma, firefighters gathered with worried locals and one very upset mother as workers dug deep into a drain to rescue a litter of stranded puppies. (Jan. 21)
@nobleheight And the day we become greedy enough to object to saving animal life due to money is the day we start to become inhuman. It starts with animals always. Hope you rethink your opinions because it is warped in many ways. Good day.
@nobleheight How many homeless people have you taken in? As much as I would love to help a homeless man or woman I have my home, my family, and my well being to think about as well. I don't know if bringing a stranger who has been on the streets for who knows how long is such a good idea. Honestly the money it took to do this good deed is nothing compared to the free money we give people to buy ipods through social problems. The root of homelexsness is deep, and has nothing to do with this.
@NaturalGrace Wouldn't all this time and money spent helping dogs be better spent helping human beings. There's a homeless guy on the other side of town. Why doesn't one of these good samaritans bring them into their homes? I guess the homeless guy is not cute enough. The thousands of dollars wasted on repairing the sewer could have been better spent sheltering and feeding that homeless guy.
@nobleheight Ha ha, you're an idiot. The city has the right to access public infrastructure (ie, storm drains) whether you give them permission or not.
Congrats, you're a moron in addition to being a horrible person.
@CL0v3 Pour some Draino into the strom drain. That should take care of the clog. That's a lot easier and cheaper than busting open a freaking storm drain. If that storm drain was on MY property and the firefighters approached me for permission to bust it open, I would say hell no. I would not agree even if good samaritans offered to donate money to cover the repair bill. Too much of a hassle.
As a Buddhist, it pleases me that these people go all the way to save the animals. And to those idiots who complain about wasting money, the damaged storm drain creates jobs!!!!
@xloveXghoulx I sure hope those are volunteer firefighters. Taxpayers shouldn't have to pay for this.
