Did I say they were? No. I just stated a fact: No smartphone will record with the sound quality the Q3 has. I know, because I own both a smartphone and a Q3, and there's no comparison.

@dioseolo True--But the recorded audios or videos are not meant to be used with pro tools or Logic there just to keep and catalog ides for real recordings. If you have a decent smart phone it will record your riffs or guitar clips at a reasonable quality and definitely provide great resolution for videos.

I have this camera and it is shit. The quality sounds nothing like this and the batteries last no longer than 3 hours.
