I agree, the sport is not well accepted over there yet...
I know Zermatt from wintersport, snowboarding and that was a spectacular scenary. Maybe next year with the bike?!

Almost all nice singletrails are "Bikeverbot"... but... most of hikers leave the trails around 16:30. So go up to "Manlichen"late in the afternoon. It's still a 2 houres climb, take the "Panaroma 'route and after 45 mtr take a left on the "Romantik"trail. Or follow the "Panorama" trail. An onther nice one is to go up from "First" to the "Bachalpsee" (Also Bikeverbot so go late) and cross the 2 lakes in the middle, keep left and follow the "Blumenpfad". All very nice. We were there 2 weeks ago.

Can you give an idea of where this trail is? I will be riding in Grindlewald in a few weeks and judging from the maps it seems that all the routes that look like they could be fun to ride are "bikeverbot". The trail in the video looks like fun.
Thank you for your advices but I think that Grindelwald is not funny to ride. I prefer Zermatt for all mountain endouro. Bike pass is availabel and not so expensive. When you ride a bike in Grindelwald they look at you if you where a dangerous monster. And the matterhorn give the best panorama vew when you ride.
