Nickelodeon shows two child boys kissing on TV!

How does this make you feel? Boys kissing on Nick at 10:30 in the morning?

I mean we can all say they shouldn't be showing heterosexual child kissing as well. But the fact is children in most households relate to heterosexual partnerships almost as soon as they are born. They don't know what "sexuality" or "preference" is. So do you think this too much to show on a childrens channel or is it perfectly fine for toddlers and elementary aged kids to be seeing this before they can understand it. What is your opinion on it?

Its a scene most ppl would not even have noticed if it were not pointed out by someone. I have no problem with children seeing tender and loving homosexual scenes. Sometimes a kiss is just a kiss. I see far more offensive if not almost pornographic heterosexual scene that worry me far more on Tv at all hours of the day..

Whatever is acceptable for boys and girls to do to eachother on TV, the same is acceptable for boys and boys to do to eachother on TV. I saw two young boys kissing, both about 11. A couple of my friends were shocked, but the rest of us thought it was cute, just like when little girls and boys kiss.

I understand feeling surprised at first when you saw that on TV, but the reason you think its "strange" is because you grew up only seeing heterosexual kissing on TV. Of COURSE it seems strange, because this is the "norm" that is responsible for homophobia. Its GOOD because we need change. The gay kids aren't having sex! Not to attack you, but the fact that you see homosexuality as something kids shouldn't be "exposed" to that early, makes me think you do harbor a little bit of homophobia.

Ok, I recognize that you are not homophobic, but think about this: one of the biggest reasons that there's homphobia in schools and in general, is EXACTLY what you just said- kids don't understand it at an early age, so then when they see gay peers in High School, they pick on those kids, and bully them, because all they were exposed to as a kid was "heterosexual" stuff on TV, so they think that's the only thing that is normal.
