Obama and the Democrats just passed a sweeping financial bill and while it doesn't address the issues that led to the credit crisis and housing meltdown it does allow government a free hand in giving out bailouts to well connected corporations, handing trial lawyers even more ways to sue businesses, alllowing unelected beuracrats to decide what banks and companies are "too big to fail", and tracking all of your credit card transactions. I have to wonder where this passion was during the several weeks that Congress spent debating it. Every conservative news outlet was preoccupied with the New Black Panther story. Apparently it seems they can't handle more than one news story at a time. Love Glenn, but he blew it on this one.
