This is a scene from a great movie called Drunks. It's an adaptation of the off-Broadway play "Blackout". Richard Lewis is a great actor and its a shame he didn't go on to do more stuff, especially drama, he's awesome and he's funny in Curb....

  • This is from the movie "Drunks." It's a great movie. I used to watch this when I was using and wanted to go to meetings but was too chicken. I atleast had this movie. Not a substitute I advocate, just commenting on the movie.

  • very good movie- been clean over 3 years, and I remember watching this movie when I first came to the rooms, I know it sounds crazy- but I used to refer to this movie as a "meeting" by itself. This movie by itself contributed to my sobriety- he did an excellent job.

  • love this movie, it's just so real.

  • I rented this movie on Netflix- as a sober member of AA I could related to the characters in the movie. Be careful- it does have active drinking in it though.

  • Lousy comedian and a pathetic actor. What were they thinking when they gave Lewis this part, it killed the film!

  • did we see the same movie? this was the worst trash i have seen in a long time. most of it was inaccurate and i regret wasting money buying this movie. just can't seem to get anyone to take it off of my hands.

  • God I love Actors...

  • Been about 10 years since I've seen this film. Still as great as it was watching it late-night on Showtime. Richard Lewis' best performance so far.
