Wow. I remember hearing this tune on a Ventures LP and always wondered where they got it from. This is so great. I remember when I was young thinking that Jackie was a black artist. Always liked her stuff and just didn't realize this was her tune. Thanks.

I heard a terrific radio interview with Jackie DeShannon on the MIT station WMBR a couple weeks ago. She just released a new CD - When You Walk In The Room - with new versions of her hits and the hits she wrote for other people, plus the ones written for her: "Needles & Pins" and "What The World Needs Now": Very sparse arrangements and the songs just really stand out. And yes, her voice still sounds great.
