Great rifles and a lot of fun to shot. Mine is all USGI parts built around an Enterprise receiver. It is marked U.S. RIFLE, 7.62MM M14A2.

My LRB M14 says M14 on it, not M1A.

@09stoneheart well then my advice to you is. the m1a -m-14 is the up-graded version of the garand m1 . and if a REAL AMERICAN SPRINGFEILD ,is out of your price range get a norinco chinese knock-off, for about 400.00 bucks ok,
