Warhammer 40K Black Rage # 15 Blood Angels Death Company Dreadnought # 2

Another member of my Death Company - this is the re-painted version of "Moriar the Chosen" I re-painted it because i thought the previous version was untidy. Ive added some Forgeworld bits, armed it with a melta and flamer with two blood fists. The blood on the base was created using "Envirotex Light" varnish with a mix of GW red ink.
I have issues with trying to highlight black so ive gone for a more clean look and concentrated detail on the areas that are not black. My technique for highlighting black will improve as i paint more of it. Hopefully.

The blood on the base looks sweet!

If you're having problems highlighting black, try using a dark blue, like a deadly nightshade instead of gray. It's a more subtle highlight.

Im just throwing this out there........but I think if you did some battle damage along the edges it would really make that mini pop! Specially if you do not like highlighting black?

But it still looks great!
