The Renaissance Remix

This is a cultural history class project which we have to present Renaissance Art in modern form. We decided to make a hip pop cover from Greensleeves because no one has ever done it before. If the lyrics and music video offend you we apologize, we appreciate all the great contributions of Renaissance Era. (We produced the beats and lyrics ourselves, we do own this music.)

a profound effect on artists' generation
His full interest in the human body
perfected his technique in depicting it
and by that he made
his great creation
King David statue in his nation

Let me introduce a term called Renaissance man
They ain't fool they could do more than you can

many things they did-didn't just made good art
Da Vinci, one of the greatest painters known in all time
that's not all he did when he was still alive
He wrote, he flowed, many things we now quote
him for...when we do many things just like before

After all these years, polymath evolved
They still paint and now they play basketball
They wrote songs and now we're poppin' their songs
The irony—now their work is their legacy
And we use it for present democracy
Remember these are our days...not theirs
So when someone asks you what they did
Just say
They were not better
they just gave all their everything.


So now ill talk about a topic you...might feel familiar with
Something you do everyday...yea communicate

You really think we've always had these stuff,
Gadgets- phones, whatever now we use to talk,
write and learn bout everything that happened past a minute now
like everyone's screaming loud, the news are how and where and what happened then,
I cant explain, diversity has a name is Global Tech, we use it to communicate
Don't say my name...people keep repeating it
It's not a sin...but somehow they are killing it
Like no one else...has ever taught them how to live
