  • I love how birts talk so much shit..But yet keep buying american cars..LOL And AMERICAN ARE THE STUPID ONES...

  • dolphins.

  • Why is there an Israeli flag in the background?

  • @kernals12 That's the thing after having driven the GT, the 10k is more than worth it (it's a lot more expensive here b/coz ford doesn't wanna sell it here). The M3's lairy-ness isn't a byproduct of it's primitiveness i.e it's a proper car, not just a horse power number marketing gimmick aimed at people who nothing about cars. The quality you forego isn't worth the money you save. As for the GT500 I won't be paying proper car money for a stang that isn't completely different lock stock & barrel

  • @kernals12 Oh and re: straight sixes, if drag racing and straight line speed is all that matters you should see what a straight 6 plastic wedge of a primitive car (tvr 350) does to a v8 plastic wedge of a primitive car. Go to the top gear site and see Hammond's corvette video. Seriously, straight line speed, it's about as impressive as bench press numbers, there's a reason athletes concentrate on more meaningful exercises. It's just not serious.

  • @kernals12 "...the Mustang does handle... and I don't get straight sixes.." 'nuff said really, you must be judging by different standards. You don't understand much about engines I take it, displacement is more important than the cylinder arrangement, it's basic stuff really. One gives you power and the other is about how you use it, and if you can't judge handling characteristics properly then the latter won't mean anything. Also the p5 had a buick v8 (3L) fantastic stock engine.

  • @justnotcricket believe it or not, the Mustang does handle and it can sip fuel, or what we consider sipping fuel with our fuel prices and I don't get straight sixes, from what I've seen with the Rover P5, Jaguar XJ6, and E type, they have the power of V6s and the fuel economy of V8s, that's the wrong way around

  • @justnotcricket the mustang is a lot cheaper than the bmw, the GT is 10 grand less than an M3 and has just as much power, if you want to spend M3 money, you can get the GT500 which as I said before can do 200 mph

  • @kernals12 I can understand how the 'stang is venerated in your eyes, but due to culture it isn't in mine. I get the 'gone in 60 seconds, Elenanor' thing. I do. But it gets lost in translation. For you it maybe v8's regardless of the displacement, for us it's less monochromatic. Ideally a straight six (3-4.5lt), but many things from flat sixes to British coach-built interceptors with big block American v8's get honorable mentions. The ultimate however is a brutal v12. That's how it stands here.

  • @kernals12 I'm not what? better off with a higher performance car? I am. I know how turbo's work son and less than 100bhp per litre (remember Bhp) without induction is not good enough. I prefer NA but with those numbers it ain't doing it for me, especially for m3 money which is what a passable mustang without primitive suspension gets, and BMW get that without starting with stickier tyres. Lookswise the old one, yes. The new one... no.
