Unused: Megaman's Soccer Protoman Cutscene

An unused Protoman cutscene. It has been confirmed to be part of the ending, right before Wili escapes.

Turn on the game. Select Capcom Championship, then keep pressing Start to begin the game. You will get the Protoman cutscene instead of the opening.

I think it's an intro to fighting him. Isn't he the first boss fight? Plus, you always hear his whistle before he appears, right? And it would make sense that this comes before the ending if it comes before you fight him.

@Gauntlet101010 I don't think so. The scene implies Protoman is remembering Megaman, so it can't be before you fight him. It's just like the Megaman 3 ending where Megaman remembers Protoman.

Now this is truly an awesome ending cutscene. Why oh why did they not include it? This leads me to wonder, do all the characters have brief ending scenes?

@MegaMacTV That's what I thought, that maybe they were going to include character specific endings. But then I though that if that was the case, then why did they do Protoman's ending before Megaman's?

As he remembers his fallen brother, he decides to exact his revenge.
