Gallagher - Showtime Comedy Spotlight (Sledge-O-Matic)

Here is something that I found on an old VCR tape a while back. I remember watching this when I was a kid about 15 years ago... I honestly didn't know we still had this (I'm surprised the VHS tape still worked).

What I decided to upload is basically the finale of his show. He did some stand-up stuff at the beginning (for example, showing off a miniature watermelon-shaped remote-controlled blimp), and even had some other guy do some jokes with him, but I figured not too many people would be interested in that stuff (I can still upload it though if enough people ask)... This is what most people are interested in; Gallagher, with his trusted "Sledge-O-Matic", smashing any food items that he could find, as it sprayed onto the unfortunate audience.

Gallagher, to put it simply, had a "Different" type of humor. Like anything nowadays, people either find his type of humor really funny, or really terrible. While his gags do get old after a while, I like this routine because it's something I used to watch with my folks when I was a little kid, so it brings back some good memories.

I don't know when this stand-up show was recorded, or even what year this is from... It's just something I found one day that I thought I would share with everyone else.

I wonder what happened to the art piece that he signed and created.

@ablacksquare They either kept it at the theater for others to see (like at a lounge or something), or, most likely, they just simply tore it up and threw it away after the show was over. I doubt Gallagher considered it real art, or something actually worth keeping.

Actually, he broke a tooth after slipping to the floor after trying to put pizza w/ avocado where NYC goes. He dislocated his elbow falling to the pavement while rolling on water skis strapped to roller skates, behind a boat on a trailer pulled by his car painted like a watermelon before hi "totally new" show a year and a half earlier.
