One hindrance to the mass-marketing of Keepon is that each one has a foot-tall base that has all the motors and functional equipment to make him move as he does. It's not like he can be removed from his base.

Maybe someday in the future when the base gets smaller, someone will find a way to make them as toys.

Keepon reminds me of a parakeet, with his cute little movements. I saw a couple in Chicago in 2008 at Nextfest, and spent several hours watching one and playing with one.
