  • @ALBIONTYKE The common belief that that David Bellamy's career was ended by the BBC after he dismissed global warming as "poppycock" is slightly incorrect. The last programme David ever presented on the BBC was broadcast in 1994. However, he first publicly challenged the scientific consensus on manmade climate change in a Daily Mail article published a decade later in 2004. Of course, that's not to say he'd be able to present another programme on nature today!

  • Great man, but the powers that be halted his career when he stated man made climate warming was a lie. Dont think he has worked in TV since !

  • The series 'Botanic Man' was produced in 1978 by Thames Television. There were 10 episodes in the series. Fremantlemedia Archive Sales represents the Thames collection for clip licensing purposes.
