messiahjonz bothered to read a few books concerning expanding earth.

The Expanding Earth by Pascual Jordan , Pergamon Press 1971.

Wandering Continents and Spreading Sea Floors on an Expanding Earth by Lester C. King, John Wiley & Sons 1983.

Developments in Geotectonics 10 The Expanding Earth by S. William Carey, Elsevier Scientific Publishing Company 1976.

After reading these books concerning expanding earth ideas, my conclusion is as follows:

Expanding earth proponents have no way of modeling an earth that is any size other than present size with any accuracy. There are several sizes for a smaller earth thrown around, yet nothing supported by data.
The mechanism for planetary growth is lacking at best, and is nothing more than an idea of wishful thinking.
Expanding earth proponents ask that others refuse to accept observed and documented evidences, such as subduction zones, which is not science at all.
Plate Tectonic Theory clearly and concisely explains and demonstrates models, tests, data, etc concerning why and how this is a natural process, in evidence, and observable.

I will stick with my geologic education and practicing geology, rather than claim conspiracy and practice poor science.

  • ok. SO u have read Terra non-firma by Dr James Maxlow. - Australian geologist.?

do u need to be spoon fed the links... or just tell me you havnt?

your books are old 71, 76 -. read maxlow's which u cough mention about...

  • @VirtualRealityTV Read it... it is nonsense as well.

Curious as to your double post.

  • @messiahjonz read it have you.! nonsense is it.? and the data about the age of the ocean beds from the rifts irrelevant science . darn case closed thanks. p.s dbl post removed accident.

  • @VirtualRealityTV Which "rifts" are you referring to?

The ages of oceanic crusts is predicted by Plate Tectonics, and has been verified and documented.

This is the same lame arguments creationists try to use for a young Earth.

It is not "irrelevant science"... just poor science.

  • @Megajunkie01001 TV is for entertainment.

As for acknowledgment of EE, it was nearly a century ago, and found to be nothing more than an idea, due to it having no applicable tests to support it.

Plate tectonics does have those tests, and does it better.

Not trying to insult you, but you did start this conversation by stating that you are uneducated.

Would you have an operation performed by an uneducated doctor that wanted to use techniques from 100 years ago?

    That is EE.

  • @messiahjonz So why does the science channel even exist? And I still I believe that this Idea is possible and so interesting that it deserves to be acknowledged by the world.

  • @Megajunkie01001 Unfortunately, the mainstream media are not the people to go to for science information or to get an education.

This expanding Earth idea was proposed over a hundred years ago, and dismissed by the scientific community for lack of evidence.

As for lava under water... those are called "pillow lava", and do not crack due to expansion, but cooling.

The Earth is not expanding and adams is just a cartoonist.

It is good that you seek answers, get them from books, not TV.

  • I am an uneducated person. But I believe this "hypothesis" is way too ignored by the mainstream media. I mean why don't they even mention it on the science channel. With all the programs about geology and plate techtonics that I've seen because they know it is correct and it rocks the hell out of their little apple cart. I watched one yesterday and it showed lava solidifying into rock underwater, and it expanded as it cooled and cracked just like the Adams Models of Expanding Earth.

  • @Gouanaco Hey neobrachus... you are this obsessed with me and my videos, and you crave attention so much that you have to create additional names to make posts?

    Pathetic.
