The movie was ok but the race at the finish line was to crazy for me, lazer cuts engine in half and still runs, the halves of the car forgot about gravity,the right half of the car won with no steering or brakes.I know its all fake but damn.

so they say it's a remake, but the plot sounds like a sequel. it has connections to the original in that dean jones is in it.
