I have the exact same problem. If you're not able to limit what he eats, try to get him/her to MOVE more. I got a laser pointer which he'll chase sometimes...he's getting big, I'm concerned!!

My little furry critter would love this work out plan. except for the part about limiting food, as soon as i reach for the bowl she will start hissing and scratching
