@SeanAveryBroadway I agree that choice was bad, unfortunately man, I don't make the decisions, I would have never taken a goalie that fast. Whatever, we move on, just like how we try to forget about Milbury, worst coach ever...
But, the Islanders still don't suck, their young, and you can't look at the stats to see the true team behind the losing seasons.
Last season they some remarkable games, like 6-0 Detroit. Next year could be different, you just never know today.

@SeanAveryBroadway I believe the Rangers went through a longer streak than 7 years...I believe it was 10 from 95' up.
So nah, we still win, 9th place is pretty much the worst spot to be in anyways. ;)

@NYRNYM9486 ...Wasn't it the Rangers that after the cup didn't make the playoffs 10 years in a row? You shouldn't be mocking any other team, when in reality, you have the 2nd to worst history compared with the original 6 teams, and as many cups as the Islanders, who joined in the 70's...no history, and you need to understand that.
I'm sure the dinosaurs enjoyed watching the Rangers win their first three cups.
