Canadian tv channel SPACE aired this movie SUBTITLED back in the day, and I thought it was the coolest thing ever!

the trailer sounds creepy but the first part [out of 11] on youtube seemed so happy o.o....i hope its not too sad at the end ><!!!! [no spoilers if ur replying to this plz !!!]

@skyjadeshe Studio ghibli used to be my favourite animes... Until I saw this. Miyazaki is amazing, but in a different way to this. The symbolisation in Miyazaki is clear and fairly easy to see. The symbolisation in this is so thick I can't concentrate and have to accept that there are some things we will never know.

Great movie, and really beautiful. I recommend it to everyone who haven't seen it, everyone who can think a little while they watch a movie anyway. The story is sad in one way, and happy in another. The imagery is stunning, and the characters is just awesome. Lean back, pretend that you smoke a joint and dive in to an spectacular adventure!
(anyone else saw the triforce in the very beginning of this trailer? fucking awesome!)

Yeah its a sad anime. Didn't get it at first, and thought this was fun and light b'coz of the talking kitties but it's truly sad similar to Bridge to Terabithia.
Excellent and creative animation and hypnotic music. 5 stars
