this was the only store bought game that i had out of the 60 or so that i had......
when spelling out jumpman...when he pulls the letters if i held the joystick to the left i could make him fall off the edge...i never finished the game but i mostly played level 5 randomation i think it was called...thanks for the video

there was some way at the beginning to mess with jumpman at the beginning with the joystick. You had to pull it left I believe at the proper time and when he goes to pull the letters at the beginning, he ordinarily would go right up to the edge, but if you pull the joystick, he goes tumbling off due to a glitch where part of the input gets used on the menu screen.
Pacman or Ms. pacman in the arcades had a similar glitch where pacman would go too far to the left and get chomped by ghosts.

Nice post. We use to enjoy this game on the C64 back then. In retrospect, yeah, doesn't look like much. But back then, this was state of the art, LOL :).
