Well Obama did deliver us a killer, for now we know why Obama said not to jump to conclusions about Nidal Hasan.
The gunman who killed 12 people at Ft. Hood is Army psychiatrist Nidal Hasan, and he is listed last year as a participant in Obamas Homeland Security Policy Institutes presidential transition task force.
I broke a glass and said "Oh God!". Perhaps I hit a car and said "God!" ... or perhaps a shooter would say that too since the interjection "God", "Jesus" "Oh God" "My God" are some common to Catholics. Does that make people using this interjection radical Christians?
Second: yes he is guilty but terrorism is a separate class of accusation and treatment by law. Amalgam of terms is dangerous unless you want to trivialize the word "terrorist" (be sure that implies though i.e. be aware of laws)
jdoe79: The difference in the current rhetoric is what I am arguing. There is none. Anyone looking at history can see that and such systematic hatred toward Muslim is playing the game of the radicals (who want to see an open conflicts of this nature). So in a sense, you are going along what radical Muslim wants you to do.
I call reactions such as Muslim=terrorist a systematic hatred (look at the posts including yours). You are not waiting for the investigation to follow its course and have already reached your own conclusions. Perhaps he will be found guilty of terrorism, perhaps not; I do not know and personally, I will wait until the findings and evidence comes out before bringing judgment, respecting the principle of " ... until proven guilty".
jdoe79: guilty of shooting people does not equate to be guilty of terrorism. That is the point here: innocent until proven guilty is relative and Obama has NOT declared the guy is innocent but not commented on the terrorist connection either in a positive manner.
Finally, the mark of a true leader is also to let people do their job (investigator and army) and act upon facts not beliefs. What you seem to want is a wild accusation without proof. This president will not that.
Finally, the mark of a true leader is also to let people do their job .....loool..like prof gates and the police officer....1. a person, usually a member of a group, who uses or advocates terrorism. 2. a person who terrorizes or frightens others. ....hasan was both!!
