野辺山45m電波望遠鏡
「ミリ波」と呼ばれる電波を観測できる電波望遠鏡では世界最大の口径です。この大口径を活かして天体からのかすかな電波をとらえます。

野辺山ミリ波干渉計
6台のアンテナをケーブルでつないで同時に観測することで、最大で直径約600mの電波望遠鏡に相当する解像力で天体画像を描き出します。主に天体の様子を細かく調べるこ­とに威力を発揮してきました。

野辺山電波ヘリオグラフ
太陽専門の電波望遠鏡です。84台のアンテナを使い、直径500mの電波望遠鏡に相当する解像力を実現しています。最大で毎秒10セットの太陽全面画像を得ることができる­性能を活かし、ビデオカメラのように太陽の活動をモニターしています。

野辺山強度偏波計
太陽全体からくる電波の強さと電波の特性(偏波)を測定し、太陽活動の様子を調べる装置です。8つのパラボラアンテナを使い、7つの周波数を同時に観測しています。

45 45-m telescope
One of the world's largest radio telescopes that can observe in millimeter (1-10mm) wavelengths.
The 45m telescope is capable of collecting extremely weak signal from distant terrestrial objects.

Nobeyama Millimeter Array
The Nobeyama Millimeter Array (NMA) is a telescope array that consists of six parabolic antennas. Its ability to produce high spatial resolution images is equivalent to a 600m diameter parabola.

Nobeyama Radioheliograph
Nobeyama Radioheliograph is a radio telescope dedicated to observing the Sun. It consists of 84 parabolic antennas each with 80cm diameter,and it is equivalent to a 500m diameter parabola.

henpa Nobeyama Radio Polarimeters
Nobeyama Radio Polarimeters are observing the Sun with multiple frequencies in the microwave range. The data is very important for investigating the long-term variation of the Sun.
