Bottom line the Rangers try to always win their games via free agency (Like the Flyers) Look at Richards, Look at Gaborik, Look at Gomez, Holik, Bruce Driver, Gretzky, Jagr, Chris Drury...I can go on and on. Sather is a joke. Not as big of a joke as Wang or Burke but still a joke.

@LOLkidspranks55 - Messier/Graves were both Oilers. Two people who outside Leech played a major role in the 1994 cup win. I.M.O. I consider Graves to be a "plug" of a player. Richter and Leetch were the only ones - homegrown that mattered. MacTavish wasn't drafted by the Rags, Larmer wasn't and will forever be a Blackhawk, Matteau? Please. He was a journeyman. You could throw out Kovalev but he spent as many years with the Rags as he did with the Pens basically.
