outtakes from the MAXIMUM 3D video...good times. The mcpx is a tough 3d capable micro heli. It is NOT indestructible but can survive most anything within reason making it easy to push the envelope without risk of expensive damage. The people who say its weak or cant take a beating are the same people that when handed a pair of ball bearings and ask to walk across a field would either break both of them or lose them before they got to the other side. When you bury it from 30 feet up in concrete in high speed tail first dive and it cracks the boom, a link pops off and 10 min / $15 bucks later its flying again don't hate!

  • Anybody have a link for dx6i setup to make it fly like this? Mine wont even go inverted and im not trying again until im sure it aint going crazy by itself once i flip it.

  • @mrldc2u2

Here are the radio settings used in this video and the Maximum 3D video. They are responsive so practice over grass. This is for a JR I think it is the same for 6i

Here are the radio setting used. AIL 60% Expo, 100% DR ELEV 60% Expo, 100% DR RUDD -35% Expo, 125% DR Travel adjust PITCH H 63% L 63% THROTTLE H150 L150 Sub Trim PITCH H 30 Throttle Curve Normal 0-inh-100-inh-100 Idle 1 100-100-100-100-100 For RJ type radio

  • Thanks a lot! Hope i can finally do some inverted!

  • @mrldc2u2

Its going to be sensitive get use to forward flight then when you are comfortable try inverted. make your transition smooth dont try to fly it like a 450 pro or a 600. It does not have the raw power if you stall the head its done. you must be in control at least 95% there is little to no room for error it does not have the power to get out of serious mistakes. Again soft ground and throttle hold are your friends!

    Best of luck to you!

  • if you did any of these with any other heli like a t rex or even a blade sr you i would probably be out 20 bucks at the bare minimum each time. if i was forced to do this with even the sr i would just go to my room and roll up in the fetal position and cry myself to sleep.

yeah for a 3D collective pitch heli its quite durable. We were impressed.

  • Awesome video, gives me alittle more confidence to do some 3d testing (my first collective pitch heli).

also thought this was funny: go to 3:28 in the video and listen to the words in the music while you're flying:-)

    good day.

  • Great flying.

Just how many MCPX's were harmed in the filming of this vid? ;)

  • My god poor heli.

You just gave me the confidence to push mine a little harder. I hit the TH at 3' up, over grass, and then I walk up to the heli expecting it to be mangled to bits GUESS NOT. I think the tail booms are the weakest link on this bird. Broken 3 so far, nothing else has broke other than a slightly bent feathering spindle.

    Nice gym!

  • Realy nice heli and good video!
