@Billywask As a Jedi or a Sith u can choose it. If u are bad or a good jedi/sith. A good Jedi can buy Blue/Green/Yellow Colorcrystalls. If he´s bad, he can buy red/orange crystalls. At the beginning every Jedi got a blue Lightsaber, and a Sith a red Lightsaber

At lvl 50 u can gain a Purple Lightsaber .. 1 time.

@Billywask blue for JK and green for Consular. but you can get your favourite colour straight after youve done with Typhon

@Billywask if you preorder it u can get a crystal that makes the blade black and orange, i tested it, its great, but other than that not from what i saw, the empire has red and orange, the jedi have blue, green, and purple

He's reffering to one of the movies while this game takes place 3,500 years before the time in the movies.

Don't listen to him.

And the point is that a lot has been added and altered in Star Wars since the original film. A lightsaber is a tool to Jedi, not a weapon. Look it up.
