Andy Latimer pours out his heart in this one from Rajaz (1999)

I was born in '49
Family of four
Father had his own band
It was just after the war

My brother and I had a radio
And every night we'd share
Waves from Luxembourg
Came though the air

Days were full of music
And nights were just the same
And though the songs are different now
Some things never change

Can't explain the way I feel
Why, even to this day
I still love the sound of that red guitar
It takes my breath away
And goes straight to my heart

  • most underrated progressive rock band ever, Rajaz released in 1999 & A Nod And A Wink album released in 2002 is brilliant.

  • gosh... I just can't express how I missed this song (don't have it on the PC I'm using where I currently am) this whole song found its way to my heart just as soon as I first heard it... one of their best.
