流行歌手として大衆の人気を博す前、デビュー当時の彼女はレイモ­ンド・コンデのコンボでかなり厳しく指導を受けたと聞きます。そ­の頃の精進が財産となっていたのでしょうね。

before.....and that saxophone player ...... what a performance !!

When I moved to Tokyo in the 1970's Ms. Matsuo Kazuko took very good care of me, I was a pro guitarist in my 20's, we did concerts and gigs all over Tokyo, when I led a band in Roppongi

I used her rhythm section, she was a wonderful, warm and caring friend. RIP
