Cambodians suffer deeply from the privatization policy instituted by the Hun Sen's government. The Messenger Band provides their interpretation of the suffering by Cambodian people from this ill-advised policy.
@khm312 I KNOW I AGREE WITH YOU ON THAT THE GOVERNMENT GOT TO BE FAIR TO THOSE PEOPLE IF I WAS IN THEIRS SHOE I WOULDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO EITHER THE ENITY THAT SUPOSE TO PROTECT ME AND MY PROPERTY IS NOW BURNING DOWN MY HOME AND FORCING AN UNJUST EVICTION
Thanks to the Messenger Band members for their courage in facing the evils of corporate exploitation in their society (and the world). This is a brave thing to do!
poor stay poor and rich stay rich even thou cambodia is going forward 99% of the people are never going to afford any new house or a better standed of liveing due to poor wages, the country has come a long way but noi ncrease in salaries people can only live day to day they can't save for a better life
@l2edihawk I would agree that it would make Cambodia "proper" or whatever term you want to use. HOWEVER, evicting them and not placing them in a government housing area is wrong! If the government just evict them in this way, where will they go? How will it really make them "proper" if you have all these homeless people walking around with no roof over their heads? Just a suggestion: Govt chould at least provide housing projects for these evicted people. This way things are under control...
I hope I am not out of line but the lyrics to this song really bother me. It sounds like it could be straight out of the Khmer Rouge propaganda machine.
i no it tuff for the poor people who is being evicted out of their home but you got look at a different view look in to the future of cambodia this land development will make cambodia proper in the future
