May be difficult for people to believe even now, but Palin really was quite a revelation when she first arrived on the scene. She contrasted so brilliantly with Hillary Clinton, Barbara Boxer, Geraldine Ferraro, even the feminine Blanche Lincoln.

Not sure if it's slanted news coverage, or just regular old sunlight, but with each passing day of media play, Palin gets more and more dim. Those that rally around her seem more and more naive, and she seems less relevant. But then again, so does Obama, Newt, Clinton, Romney, et al. Behind all this is perhaps a realization that Amercians should be self governing without a need for a sycophant leader.

I think you meant "Why is a Hockey Mom like a Pitbull?" or more accurately, "What does just about everything in the world have in common?". Of course, with "Obama" as the punchline, the world cannot contain the volumes of work which could be written.
e.g. "What's worse than a solo violist?"
or, "Why's that [name of item] so darned expensive?"
or, "Who's the smartest" to which liberal respondent blurts "Obama" and you keep going "...Kenyan?"
