Hooah!!!!

  • I support the fucking lunatics right to free speech like I would anyone's, but I can't help but wonder how that ruling would've turned out if they were a Muslim sect instead of a Christian one.

Very different would be my guess.

  • Snyder is a crybaby...

  • Snyder even admitted he didn't see those protesting and didn't know what they were doing. The WBC were standing where the police told them to. This is slanted journalism at its finest.

  • i think the supreme court needs to reevaluate themselves, regardless if it's covered by the first amendment, unless they want a huge fight something needs to change. I can't wait until Rev. Phelps dies...i hope half america shows up to his funeral and protests and we'll see how they like it...pretty sure the veterans ain't coming to protect his funeral.

  • I have been under the impression that the first amendment protects the freedom of speech. But aren't these so called RELIGIOUS PEOPLE, breaking the other part of the 1st amendment, that doesn't protect people like this because they are hurting the family and friends of this wonderful person.

  • from one legal standpoint, wbc stayed the legal distance away from the funeral and didn't incite a riot. they didn't violate the clear and present danger part of the 1st amendment. from the other legal standpoint, wbc used hate speech, which is not protected by the 1st amendment and is a hate crime. the supreme court said that it was actually "hurt speech" and that that was okay and protected. bullshit! they are a bunch of racist bastards who clearly don't have the first amendment on their side.

  • Now wait a sec. Free speech must be protected. It's a fundemenatl right. However pevrerse it may be, it's no dif. from other hate groups that are tolerated. Doesn't mean we can't stand amonst them in the protest zone with our own signs & slogans.I'm guessing there are alot more of us.When they come to your town, organize people make signs, go meet them face to face in the protest zone.Drown them out. Expose these self loathing closet homo's for what they are.

  • there a goddamn cult make's me sick that I'm from Kansas and who follows these assholes anyway I'd love to meet one person face to face I could use some red walls around me white walls are so boring

  • there a goddamn cult make's me sick that I'm from Kansas

  • God hates america that same america that lets them protest this bullshit! the same america that lets different religon and different ppl all have the same rights is their god hates america why dont the move to mexico or canada?? they dont have the sames rights but hey their god might not punish them for being an american and using the rights america has to offer. I am a proud american a proud texan! my husband if fighting overseas for those rights so thise protesters can stick it up their ass!
