  • PosholNahooy you are a dickhead. It is beautiful to hear her (and his) lovely accents and to get these recipes. Piroshki is the best!!!! The voices and accents are like music, perfectly easy to understand and a pleasure to listen to - reminds me of my beloved father.

  • Awesome! I want to try this. Love their accents... I wish i could have asked my Baba for the Slovak pierogi recipe but i never met her :(

  • Thank you!!! =D

I practically grew up on piroshki as a kid! My folks used to pick some awesome beef'n'cheddar and spinach varieties from a deli, but they closed down, back in the mid 1980's. Then, a different group started to sell some at my local farmer's market every Saturday, almost 14 years later. At first, they weren't bad, but these days, they've gotten progressively saltier.

Time for me to make my own! ;-)

  • @MickeyMunkey PoshoNahooy is an ass. Thanks for having your lovley (mother?) share her care and recipie with all. I've been hunting for authentic Russian dough receipes for years and to hear it from your family is very sweet! Thank you!

  • Thanks for sharing!!!
