NBA is an orchestrated league and David Stern should be forced to step down before he has an opportunity to retire.
That said, I'd say this is arguably a continuation play and the right call. Lots of continuation foul calls in the lane where the guy shoots the ball several seconds after being fouled. To be consistent with that, this call was the right call.
It's why coaches like Mike Antoni do not believe in the purposeful foul late in a game.

There's a foul- he grabs LJ as he tries to move left- but continuation should not have been awarded.

This is a foul what the hell are you talking about? NBA continuations are longer than college or lower levels. Under normal basketball rules its not a continuation but in the NBA this is.

But if you remember, the game before there was a BS foul call on Allan Houston when Miller shot it--this just evened it out.

Obviously, Knicks fans think this is a good call, but I'm a Pacers fan and I can admit that Reggie got away w murder for years. All you need to know is that the ref has since said that this call haunts him to this day & that if he had it to do over again, he wouldn't have even called a foul, let alone award continuation! He also apologized to Antonio, so it has been officially decided.... HORRIBLE CALL!!
