Amtrak train #11, the southbound Coast Starlight cruises through Delano,CA during an ultra-rare detour over the Union Pacific's valley line. Seen here crossing old Highway 99 (High St.) on the former Southern Pacific bridge. This line hasn't seen a revenue passenger train since 1971.
