Matt Phantom wins this category by a horses nose as his 'flawed cowboy tries to cope'. This piece is reminiscent of the bands EPK's in telling a story of an outsider individual whose eccentric behavior puts him at odds with society and continues the story of the album along its logical progression, each video and track being as important to the overall as the one before or after and be 'regarded as part of one greater entity'.

The direction for this video was perhaps its maker having listened to the song over 100 times to truly understand it and make a visual inbterpretation for it. What it really should be is that the artist listens to the song once, and then proceed to make the music video for it. Perhaps even greater so, make the music video based on the look of the waves the sound produces, rather than listening to it. A video like this bores such a viewer like myself, and i am left to journey through it alone.
