Superman 3 The Quest for Peace NEW OPENING AND TITLES!

This is a new opening and titles I made for my new and more refined fan cut of Superman 3 The Quest for Peace which for some of you that don't know is a combination of the good elements of Superman 3 and 4 to make one coherent film and much better sequel to the first two films. This segment alone took weeks and hours to accomplish due to me really wanting to perfect the titles and get all the cuts and sound mixes right. I hope you guys enjoy. I apologize for the quality downgrade I have to do for uploading this on Youtube but the original format is rendered in HD and will be completely when I'm finished with the cut. Still got a long ways to go this is just the beginning.

After some long searching If you notice I found a font that's nearly identical to what was used for the original Superman film. Instead of completely copying the color segments of the original Superman titles, initially when they come into frame they are the classic blue but when the titles extrude they change to a reflective steel because in the end he is the man of steel right? :-) Since my last cut of this a couple years ago, I decided to overhaul the cut since there were many things about it I didn't like, wanted to change, and just have some better ideas overall for it. With some better software and more knowledge of editing this cut will be much sharper and almost seamless between both of the films. Hope you guys enjoy.

Glad to see you're back and working on your project again. I look forward to see what else you have in store for us. That being said, you did a MAGNIFICENT job on these new opening titles. I like how you recap S2 like they did for S1. The font looks great as well. How long did it take to get the font right, as well as get the words to extrude correctly? Reason I ask is, I have my own fancut of Superman 2 and I'd like to make my own new opening credits as well.

@tylerdurden3891 Thanks so much for the compliment. It took a very long time to get all the titles to extrude properly like they do in Superman 1. Michael Thau did a great job with the after effects titles he did for the Donner cut but I wasn't a fan of the font he used. It's all about mastering the keyframes and getting the timing and proper placement and size of the title right.

Loved your original opening a whole lot better, which inspired my re-cut of 3 heavily, & even put your name in the ending credits. You shouldve kept the original on here so people could compare the two & vote on there favorite.

Your Audio is greatly enhanced in this version. I noticed that the fonts darken a little to soon in some frames . Making it a little hard to read. Maybe it due to youtube. Yet it is more super than the first time around.
